This set brings together three of its best-sellers for a complete comparative tasting.

In the set: the Baeri Tradition, a classic signature with notes balanced between briny character and hazelnut; the Baeri St James, a more structured expression with a longer finish; the Oscietra Classique, rising in complexity with fruity and buttery notes. This progression allows you to experience the nuances between two products: the introductory elegance of Baeri (2 caviars out of 3) and the aromatic richness of Oscietra.

The 2 mother-of-pearl spoons included allow a tasting shared among several guests. For a fine comparison, ideally count one spoon per caviar and per guest to avoid contact between species. The 3 x 30 g format (90 g in total) suits a comparative tasting for 4-6 guests, ideal for discovering the three caviars side by side. The 3 x 50 g format (150 g in total) lends itself to a more generous tasting, for 8-10 guests, or to a tasting spread over two services. The rest of the set (mother-of-pearl spoons) is identical.

Baeri is the ideal gateway into the world of caviar: a balanced, accessible profile, without excess briny character. Each spoon is handmade, which gives them slight variations in shape and colour (from pearly white to a soft pink). These variations bear witness to their handcrafted nature and the uniqueness of each piece. Mother-of-pearl is the noble material for tasting caviar. Its neutrality on the palate preserves all the finesse of the pearls, unlike metal (and silver in particular), which oxidises the caviar and leaves a metallic note on the palate. This tradition dates back to the Russian tsarist courts, where mother-of-pearl was always favoured for serving.
