Almas Presentation Tin and Box
The rarest caviar in the world
‘Almas’ - ‘Diamond’ in ancient Persian language.
This “Golden Caviar” was formerly reserved for the Emperors of Manchuria, the Tsars of Russia and even for the Vatican. In Iran it was kept exclusively for the Shah.
Almas is the eggs of an albino sturgeon, typically those of an Oscietre and Beluga sturgeon over 60 years of age (whose eggs can be known to change to a light golden colour). Some importers grade these eggs as “Almas” caviar. It is extremely rare and there is a long waiting list for this product.
Unlike, other caviars, this delicacy should be enjoyed on its own. The use of strong flavoured, traditional accompaniments, such as onion and chives, are not recommended so as not to detract from the rare and creamy nuances of the golden pearls.
Finished in this exquisite 24 carat gold tin and rosewood veneered presentation box, this is the ultimate caviar collectors showpiece.

Almas Presentation Tin and Box
Almas is a caviar that fascinates through its history and its rarity. Its name means "diamond" in old Persian, in reference to the dazzling white colour of its pearls. For a long time, this caviar came exclusively from albino sturgeon caught in the wild in the Caspian Sea, on extremely rare occasions.
Caviar House was one of the first houses in the world to offer a farmed Almas, as part of a commitment to preserving the species. Today, the pearls retain their characteristic white hue, the fruit of confidential farms.
On tasting, Almas is distinguished by a flavour of incomparable lightness. Delicate notes, creamy texture, subtle length on the palate: this is a caviar for already initiated palates, in search of the purest expression of caviar.
