The Fillet Tsar Nikolaj No. 1 Black Edition is the masterpiece of the Balik Manufacture, the jewel of its smokehouse. This exceptional product is made exclusively from Salmo salar, the noblest salmon species, raised in the pure waters of the Norwegian fjords. Each fillet is then trimmed and smoked by hand in the Swiss hills of Toggenburg, over a rare wood, dried for several years.
The Balik smokehouses, inspired by the smoking chambers of the former court of the Tsar, wrap each fillet in a fine, delicate smoke. The result is a melt-in-the-mouth texture and an ample flavour, in which the salmon expresses itself with a rare depth and delicacy.
